How FOUMAN Gallery collects, uses and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

FOUMAN Gallery ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect through foumangallery.com, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

We collect the following information:

  • Order information — your name, email address, phone number and delivery address when you purchase an artwork.
  • Messages — your name, email address and message content when you use our contact form.

  • Process orders, issue invoices and arrange delivery of artworks.

The Site uses local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your shopping cart between visits. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information to the standard required by POPIA.

We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law — for example, invoices and order records are retained for tax and accounting purposes. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Under POPIA you have the right to:
